Here’s what you need to know:
Getting here –12 miles to fuel and food, mostly rural, highway 13 to 5 mile gravel Bromley Rd as you enter campground.
Parking & Trailers – ample parking on gravel back in sites. extra parking for day use riders.

The Trails:
Our trails are through some of the most breathtaking country in the Tennessee hills. Be prepared to cross sparkling streams, climb rugged hills, and pass through secluded hollows. Our beautiful trail system winds through thousands of acres. Our trail bosses work hard to ensure a safe and memorable experience for each rider. We offer four rides each day during our Organized Rides: a half-day slow, a half-day medium, a half-day fast, and an all-day ride.
Note: No trail bosses or guides are available during non-organized ride times.
Our Cabins:
Accommodations include AC/Heat, electricity, ceiling fan and dresser. Bed linens are provided. All other toiletries are the responsibility of the renter. Payment in full at time of reservation, including a $100 security deposit (per cabin) required at check-in. This deposit will be returned at the end of your stay pending any damages. Rental fee does not include riding fee.
Camping:
Camping at the spacious Buffalo River Trail Ride campground is a relaxing vacation all by itself, with 100 acres of campground and the beautiful Buffalo River all around us. Campsites with electric must be reserved. Potable water is available at the RV stations.
Dining Hall:
During Organized Ride events we offer three buffet style meals a day, beginning with breakfast on Monday and ending the following Sunday. Meals are served in the dining hall, but all-day riders are welcome to pack a lunch.
Stalls:
All barns are covered with lights and water. Stalls must be reserved. Covered stalls are $35 and box stalls are $75 per week during Organized Rides. There is a stall cleaning fee of $5 per stall in addition to the rental fee.
The Buffalo River Trail Ride will enforce the following rules:
1. Trail Bosses and their assistants have absolute authority on the trail.
2. No rough riding or racing.
3. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the trail.
4. If your horse damages a tree, you will be charged $150.00 to replace the tree.
5. Your camp must be quiet at midnight.
6. No vehicles cruising the campground after midnight.
7. No horseback riding after midnight.
8. Pets, including Dogs and Cats, must be on a leash. No Dogs on Trails.
9. Food must not be taken from the dining facility without permission.
10. Do not tie horses to trees or where they can reach trees. Wire, rope or electric pens are not allowed. Stakes and tether lines are not allowed.
11. Bathing horses is not allowed in the Buffalo River.
12. No riding motorcycles or ATVs in the campground area or on trails.
13. No firearms or other weapons allowed.
14. No littering on or off the trails, if you pack it out pack it in.
15. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the dining hall or on organized rides.
16. If your horse kicks, you must tie a ribbon on its tail. Bring your own ribbon.
17. Meal tickets are not transferable for one person to another.
18. Unauthorized vendors are not allowed to conduct business at the trail ride.
19. We reserve the right to reject any reservation.
20. Do not tie horses to water hydrants or electrical posts.
State law PROHIBITS SMOKING in any enclosed building!
NOTE: Dogs cause accidents! If you cannot keep your pet on a leash, then please leave your pet at home. (Rule #8) ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ON TRAILS!
