Here's what you need to know:

  1. Getting here -mostly wide rural highways.
  2. Parking & Trailers - ample parking on gravel pull through and back in lots big enough for large trailers, mostly shade.
  3. Family Friendly - yes
  4. Trail Difficulty - beginners to advanced.
  5. Trail Info - large rock formations, caves, streams, sandstone, distant views, wooden bridge, gravel roads, perimeter trail.
  6. Amenities - showerhouse, picnic tables, grills, restrooms, wifi, campground host.
  7. Events & entertainment - organized rides, music, holiday events, etc.
  8. Lodging - N/A
  9. Hookups - 24 water and electric hookups, and dump station.
  10. Stalls -N/A Horse tie offs at each campsite.

  • Black bears and other wildlife frequent this campground. Please keep in mind that “food” to a bear includes any item with a scent, regardless of packaging. 
  • Dipose of garbage immediately in bear-proof garbage receptacles. This rule is strictly enforced!
  • Firewood Quarantine: The possession of any firewood originating from any location for which a federal or state firewood quarantine is in effect is prohibited. 
  • Horses or other members of the Equidae family being transported into or through the park from out of state shall be accompanied by a negative test for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) (Coggins)

  • Station Camp Campground contains 24 individual sites for equestrian campers as well as non-equestrian campers. Download your map here. Each campsite offers water and electricity, tables, grills, tie-outs for four horses, access to modern restrooms with hot showers, a dump station and access to miles of horse trails. There is free Wi-Fi available at the bath house.
  • The campground is located on Station Camp Road off Hwy 297, west of Oneida, Tennessee. Station Camp Horse Camp is open year-round. The fee rate per night is $28.00 (half price for holders of the Interagency Access/Senior Passes).

Check-out and check-in time is 12:00 pm (ET) for all campsites in the Big South Fork NRRA with the exception of Bandy Creek Group Camp where check-in time is 2:00 pm (ET) and check-out time is 12:00 pm (ET).
