Here's what you need to know:

  1. Getting here - large country roads leading to park entrance. Two lane paved park road.
  2. Parking & Trailers - located in front of riding stable barn with ample pull through parking on gravel lot. 
  3. Family Friendly - yes
  4. Trail Difficulty - beginners to intermediate
  5. Trail Info - shaded, dedicated horse trails, rocky, some mud, wagon roads, state forest, diverse, no water.
  6. Amenities - picnic tables, trail kiosk, no official water source or restrooms at trailhead.
  7. Events & entertainment - Organized rides by permit only.
  8. Lodging - no
  9. Hookups - N/A
  10. Stalls - N/A

Other/notable:

  • Once in park don't miss right turn for trailhead and stables!
  • Shoes or boots recommended.
  • Mostly flat with some slight elevation changes.
  • Can be muddy.
  • Wear blaze orange during hunting season.
  • Park office on site.
  • Additional forestry trails to ride on site.
