2. Parking & Trailers – ample parking on gravel pull through and back in sites on circle drive, mostly shade.

Welcome trail riders to The Big South Fork and Zenith Stables & Campground. We are located at the southern end of the park nestled off of Highway 52 between Historic Rugby and Allardt, Tennessee.
The Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is comprised of over 120,000 acres of the most beautiful trail riding you have ever seen. There are over 200 miles of horse trails in the BSF. A short ride on our trails will take you to the Gernt Wiley Trailhead, Zenith Road or Joe’s Branch. We are one of the closest campgrounds to the O&W railroad bed, the Zenith crossing is a shaded 2.8 mile ride from camp. You can ride to Needles Eye, Double Arches, Jake’s Hole, White Oak Overlook, the O&W Railroad Bridge and many other destinations. You’ll need more than a couple days to ride all that the Big South Fork has to offer and remember to bring your camera. You will surely want to capture the scenic beauty of the Big South Fork.
Zenith Stables & Campground currently has 40 camping sites. All have water and electric, 17 include septic hookups. We have two bunkhouses that sleep 7 to 12 people, each has a full size refrigerator and a wood stove for those chilly days. Our bathrooms are clean and have hot showers. We also have a full kitchen and dining area for general use for those camping with us.
For your horse, we have 53 barn stalls, 30 pens, several small paddocks and tie outs are permitted. Stalls are clean and bedded when you arrive as well as clean buckets in each stall for water. You supply your own feed and hay. We do have hay available for purchase. It is your responsibility to care for and feed your horse, as well as pick your stall daily.
At Zenith Stables & Campground we not only welcome the horse enthusiast, but our campground also caters to hikers, mountain bikers, kayakers, and seasonal hunters. Come stay with us and experience what The Big South Fork National Park and Recreation Area has to offer!!
We do allow pets, but they should be on a leash in the campground. They are not allowed in bunkhouses, bathrooms, or in the kitchen, due to health department regulations.
